Totally forgot to post these on the 4th, but these were my Independence Day nails! (Sorry I’ve been slacking so much, guys!)
More Disney nails! I think that’s it for this theme, for a while anyway. I have too many other designs I want to try right now! Hope you enjoy these though (:
Hey guys! Over the past few weeks I’ve been doing Disney-themed nails! I still have a few more movies I want to do, but here’s what I have so far (:
The movie was just as perfect as the book and I’m still not over it!
Trying out Essie’s neon collection!
Mosaic ocean waves!
Acid wash denim manicure!
Finals are finally over and my nails and I are ready for summer.
Color of the Week
It’s highly uncharacteristic of me to sport plain nails, but some polishes are just so pretty that they don’t need anything else. And this is one of them! This pink is called Figi by Essie and it’s literally perfect. A definite must-have for spring!
Hello loves! I’ve never really done a product review before, but I am SO incredibly excited about O.P.I’s new “Glitter Off" base coat that I have to talk about it.
If you have ever painted your nails with a glitter polish, you know what a pain it is to remove. I have tended to keep my distance from the polishes that are essentially entirely glitter because—as gorgeous as they are—homegirl over here does not* have time to bust her butt getting it off. (Even the tin foil and cotton ball trick has never worked as well as I would like it to.) BUT NEVER FEAR! This base coat actually works!!! When I was ready to remove the polish, I just had to push from the edge a little bit and viola! On some nails, the polish even came off in one large piece. I was amazed.
The only downfall of using the base coat is that it did make the manicure more prone to chipping. However, if you take your time and apply a good top coat (paying special attention to the edges), you should be fine. It is most definitely worth the money; I picked mine up from Ulta. Happy painting!
